Thursday 19 April at 7pm
Join our BA (Hons) top-up Popular Music degree students for their end of year show, 'Nowhere Place'.
'Nowhere Place' is a performance of music from the decades, changed into a Theatre Production where each character is based on the meaning of the song. A story will be told through songs of the character in the title. The students are excited about this different approach to a musical performance.
Preparing for the performance has been a great opportunity for the students to explore a new direction of taking music and generating a full production from an original concept.
Robbie Pick, BA (Hons) top-up Popular Music student, commented: "I have really enjoyed the approach we have taken this year. It has been completely different to past years but the results have been very interesting and will be compelling to watch."
The performance will be held in our state-of-the-art Drama Studio. Tickets are £3 and are available from the finance office.
This top-up programme will provide you with interdisciplinary and collaborative working opportunities, and an opportunity to explore the aspects of popular music that interests you most.
