A-Level students visit Durham University

Our A-Level students visited Bill Bryson Library at Durham University to find out more about the Extended Project Qualification which they will have the opportunity to complete in year 2.

The project is an independent piece of research that can focus on any topic, concluding in a 5000 word dissertation and a short presentation. The qualification is worth the equivalent of an AS Level in UCAS points.

Students who undertake an Extended Project will have access to the library, which houses over two million books and journals. The library can also assist the students with English Literature, English Language, History, Geography and Criminology coursework.

Following the trip, our A-Level students have full, unlimited access to the library and all of its facilities
