Welcome to New College Durham’s Students’ Union (SU). We are here to make sure you have the best experience possible at College. Our Students' Union, along with our Learner Development
Co-ordinator, can offer you informal one-to-one support and the opportunity to get involved in a range of college activities and voluntary work.
New College Durham Students' Union is part of the National Union of Students and this entitles anyone who is on a programme of study at the College to apply for an NUS Extra Card.
The Students' Union office is open Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
During peaks times the office may not be staffed due to teaching/meeting commitments. If you require assistance please contact firstname.lastname@example.org an appointment.
The Students’ Union supports activities, societies and development opportunties for students. They give you the chance to make new friends and share or develop your interests with like minded people.
The Students’ Union organises lots of different events for our students, ranging from charity fundraisers, information events and parties.
The Students’ Union is proud to support a range of voluntary activities.
The Students’ Union is responsible for all aspects of student representation in College from Course Reps to Student Governors.
Located in the Students' Union office, The SU is open every working day and the LDC is there to help with any problems you might have.
All students who are over 16 are entitled to register to vote in the UK. However you cannot legally vote in the UK until you are 18 years. If you've never registered to vote, or have recently moved house, register now.
