We have extensive links with industry and employers have input into our qualifications to ensure they meet the current demands of the industry.
Most of our full-time students undertake a work placement as an essential part of their course. This takes place with an external company, in a role that is relevant to their career aspirations, or in a realistic working environment here at college, such as our commercial hair and beauty salon Halo, Step2Fitness gym or Bistro 1819 training restaurant.
All external companies are thoroughly vetted by our Health and Safety Team to ensure students will be working in a safe environment.
