How to apply

Apply to study at New College Durham with our easy step-by-step guide.

Please submit your application form before 1 June for September start. This will give you sufficient time to apply for your student visa.

Step 1 – Decide on a course

Use the course search function to browse our extensive range of full-time courses.

Step 2 – Complete your application form

Please click here to complete our online application form.  We also accept applications from selected International Study Agents on behalf of the student.

Step 3 – Email us your supporting documents

After completing the application form, it is essential that you email international@newdur.ac.uk a copy of your academic certificates/transcripts. Please note we will be unable to process your application without these documents.

Step 4 - Interview

The international team will contact you to arrange a suitable time for a Skype interview with the course leader and the international team.

Step 5 – Receive your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) - non-EU applicants only

The Programme Leader will decide if you meet the entry requirements for the course you have applied for. When you have received an offer of a place, you will be asked to pay a 20% tuition fee deposit. After receipt of your payment, we can issue you with your CAS statement, which you will need to apply for a visa.

For non-EU students we will also require a copy of your IELTS Certificate and a copy of your passport.

Good luck with your application! Contact us at international@newdur.ac.uk if you need any help or advice with the application process.
