Student surprised with first 100% attendance award
Luke Owens, Level 2 Health & Social Care student, received a surprise award today for having 100% attendance on returning to college after Christmas to Easter break.
Deputy Principal, Alison Maynard, presented Luke with £250 of Amazon vouchers to celebrate his fantastic achievement, and commended him on staying engaged and actively participating in classes, both in college and remote.
Luke was shocked and over the moon to be recognised for his commitment to his studies. He intends to progress to Level 3 Health & Social Care in September.
Gemma Greenwood, Lecturer Health & Social Care, commented: “Over the past few months, Luke has displayed high levels of motivation and dedication to his studies. Since starting the course, Luke has interacted remotely and onsite, and has always been punctual and keen to learn.”
