Kate Crosby

Kate returned to education as a mature student and is now studying Marine Zoology at Newcastle University.

After deciding she wanted to study in the UK, Tabea was drawn in by New College Durham and moved here from Germany.

Grant gained the qualifications and skills he needed to progress to study for a degree at university.

Enya worked part-time alongside the course and secured a full-time role as Cabin Crew for Jet2.

James was promoted to a significant full-time role as a Design Engineer at GastroNorth.

Jade said her work placements helped to prepare her, physically and mentally, for her full-time role working for the NHS.

Adam said New College Durham helped him to achieve his ambitions. He is now a teacher at The Link School in Sunderland.

Jake said he wouldn’t have been able to secure his current role as a Sports Coach without the help of his lecturers.

Luke progressed to The University of York to explore his interest in History further.

Ross now stars in the soap opera, Hollyoaks, and has received an award for ‘Best Male Dramatic Performance’.
