To carry out a wide range of accounting duties in a professional manner to agreed timescales. Ensuring all tasks completed with attention to detail and accuracy. The role involves flexibility and interaction with other team members to ensure all department tasks are completed. 

• Reporting and involvement in month end closing process

• Spending controls / cost centre reporting

• Reporting of key business information eg scrap, headcount, overtime

• Capitalisation of fixed assets and monitoring of construction in progress

• Analysis and reporting of foreign currency exposure

• Working with shared services to reduce items in workflow

• Completion of monthly VAT return

• Collating information for submission of tax packs

• To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Company.

 

• Training

  • You will attend New College Durham one day per week for face-to-face sessions 
  • On going training and support will be provided through Z F Automotive
