At NCD, we have developed a range of specialist pathways designed with your uniqueness in mind.
Each pathway aims to support young people with disabilities, learning difficulties, or difficulty managing emotions or behaviour to prepare for adult life. You will develop your confidence, independence, and work readiness.
We are here to help you prepare for life beyond college – you will be supported every step of the way, from transitioning from school to college to meeting your dedicated tutor.
Your experience at NCD will be individual to you, your skills and interests.
We offer three pathways to provide you with a strong foundation as you move into adulthood – each pathway will allow you to progress to the next stage in your learning.
Pathway 1 – Preparing for Independent Living and Community Life
Pathway 2 – Preparing for Further Learning or Employment
Pathway 3 – Preparing for Working Life
You will also be encouraged to take part in regional and national skill competitions, sporting events, residentials, educational visits, lunch-time activities, and community projects.
