Since moving into our new home in 2005, we have continued to improve our outstanding facilities and equipment, from studios and creative suites to workshops and the North East Institute of Technology.
In the summer of 2016, we embarked on an exciting £5m redevelopment to transform our University Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Centre, Creative & Digital Centre, Library and Refectory.
As home to the North East Institute of Technology, a further £8m was invested in October 2019 to allow us to continue to provide state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to our students.
Our industry standard salon and spa, Halo, and simulated healthcare ward and aircraft cabin are just a few additional examples of the high standard learning environments our students experience to prepare them for the real working world.
NCD is not only a great place to study but it is also a fantastic place to catch up with friends for a coffee break in our onsite Starbucks or Costa. You can also reach your fitness goals in our gym and enjoy fine dining in our Bistro 1819 training restaurant.
