Apprentice Civil/ Structural Technician (Level 3)

RWO Associates is an energetic engineering consultancy. We provide services to the construction industry, developers and local authorities. We undertake a wide variety of work including drainage design, highway and external works design, structural design, structural surveys, flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling.

The Role:

• Day to day design office administration
• Assisting engineers & senior technicians in the preparation and issue of submissions
• Preparation and alteration of CAD/ REVIT drawings from engineer’s sketches
• Help with the arrangement and layout of drawings from client briefs
• Take part in accompanying the engineers on site visits to meet with clients
• Attendance at College on a day release basis to gain engineering qualifications and training on AUTOCAD 2D & 3D and REVIT

Skills & Qualifications:

• Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including Maths, English language and Science
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Computer Literate
• Team player, cooperative with other staff
• Positive attitude to work
