At the event you can participate in the following:

Curriculum showcases Explore the curriculum areas you are interested in. Visit their workshops, classrooms and other teaching spaces. Hear an informal presentation from teaching staff and have one-to-one conversations to find out everything you need to know to choose the right next step.
Talks will take place on the following three topics

    1. Student support: The NCD Difference

This talk will give you an insight into our fantastic support services, which are designed to help you thrive. Many of our students are returning to education after a long break or are moving from an FE environment where they have had lots of support. At NCD University Centre our support services are created with these factors in mind to enable you to transition into degree level study, even if you are balancing up other working or family commitments. Find out about our Academic Support Tutor, Personal Learning Coaches and our Learning Support team.

    2. Higher Apprenticeships: could you study a degree for free?

Hear from our higher apprenticeships team on how you could study a higher apprenticeship through your employer at no cost to yourself. This route allows you to study at degree level and achieve the same qualifications as you would if you self-funded. All built around your current job role on a part-time day release basis.

    3. Funding your studies: degrees are for everybody

Hear from our Advice, Support and Careers team about how you can fund your studies. They will give you the low down on all the financial support available and also future repayments so you can see university level study is for everybody!
