Aged 16-18

Further education for learners aged 16-18 is completely free. Choose your course and sign up to get started.

Aged 19 and above

You could be eligible for free further education if:

  • You are studying your first Level 3 programme and satisfy the eligibility criteria
  • You are in receipt of benefits or on a low income and enrol in a course below Level 3

Sponsored Students

If you are being supported by an employer or sponsor, you’ll need provide a letter of authorisation upon enrolment.

Students from overseas

Full additional Level 3 or Level 4 courses

If you’ve already completed a Level 3 course, fees are payable for any additional Level 3 or 4 courses you enrol in. You can, however, apply for an Advanced Learner Loan. You can find more information about Advanced Learner Loans at www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan or by calling 0300 100 0619.
