FdA Roots and Popular Music

Conner researched other universities and decided they didn’t suit his career goals.

Conner said:

“NCD provided a degree course which best suited what I wanted to pursue in the industry. I studied my Level 3 at the college which also made my decision incredibly easy as I knew I would have access to fantastic facilities, and I would receive outstanding support.

“There was a really positive and welcoming dynamic on campus. Creative courses joined together and we all benefitted from the industry standard equipment available at NCD.

“My tutors were inspiring as they had gained vast industry experience and were able to pass this knowledge on to us. We were supported in class and on a personal level to ensure we were in a position where we could thrive. I was able to develop professional transferable skills as well as understanding the industry and knowing how to uncover work.

“I am a self-employed musician. My plans for the future are to continue to build a presence within the music industry. I am ambitious but I can thank NCD for helping me to see my dream is achievable and measurable.”

Conner continues to hone his skills as a self-employed musician.
