BA (Hons) Popular Music (top-up)
Rebecca has secured a place to study a masters degree in Brighton at WaterBear College of Music.

Rebecca remembers visiting NCD when she was about to finish school in 2017, she said:

“There was a warm welcome, especially within the music department. My tutor invited me to attend their summer show at the Gala Theatre to watch the current students perform. It was during that show that I decided to join New College to explore my passion for music and learn more about what it means to be a musician.

Rebecca completed our Level 3 music course and decided to continue her studies at our University Centre, she continued

“After two years on Level 3, I’d established amazing relationships with all my tutors, I’d made great friends and I was very comfortable and happy studying at NCD. Because of this, it didn’t make any sense to move somewhere else when I already had everything I’d been looking for at NCD so I decided to stay to complete my degree.

Rebecca continued to form strong relationships with her course mates and her tutors thanks to the small class sizes. She said the teaching was amazing and the content of the course made for an incredible overall experience, she enthused:

“The music team at NCD are second to none and they helped me develop into the person and musician I am today. Over my five years at NCD, I have learnt so much and I was very sad to leave when I graduated. I look back fondly on my time there and what I would still call my family there, they will be lifelong friends.

Rebecca said she was supported every step of the way at NCD:

“I was championed and supported when I felt the most unprepared. I have been guided through my degree so beautifully, I cannot thank everyone enough. I owe them everything!”

Rebecca applied to study a masters degree after graduating from NCD, and has secured a place to study in Brighton at WaterBear College of Music. The course Rebecca has joined is a brand new Level 7 degree programme.
