“I liked that the campus was quite open and there were a lot of facilities open to students. It seemed like a great environment to learn in and knowing everyone in the classroom made learning feel more comfortable.

Sydney said she liked the open campus and the college seemed like a great environment to learn in.
She said:
“Studying A-Levels is difficult, but the lecturers made it fun – they were very understanding and helpful. I did my bit by helping out on some of the open days, it was great talking about my experiences, and it helped to develop my people skills which has been a massive benefit with my time at university.
“I am currently studying Law at Leeds Trinity University and I plan to study a postgraduate degree at Huddersfield. My tutors at New College supported me and encouraged me to question my future and this has helped me to plan my next steps and choose the right university degree.”
