Course Overview
The world of TV and Film include many roles and responsibilities and has a plethora of opportunities for all. The industry is a very tightly knit community, and opportunities are often available to those who work already within the sector, trained by industry specialists. A high proportion of North East work is commissioned from agencies based out of region, our links are well established already within these markets, and reputation high.
Supporting Artistes/Background Artists and Extras work are generally the first steps into regular work within this field and are crucial to making the scenes within the TV/Film/Advert real. Being part of a reputable agency and having robust knowledge and training by industry specialists is vital for regular work.
The variety of Crew within Media/Film production is endless, and also recruited through Casting / Talent Agencies similar to that of Artistes/Extras. This programme provides real access into the North East and National TV/Media/Advertising world with opportunities locally, regionally and nationally.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal educational requirements required for this Skills Bootcamp, however a good understanding of written and spoken English is required (a Level 1 Initial Assessment will be undertaken prior to start).
