Course Overview

The aim of the Battery Manufacturing Green Skills Bootcamp is to support the recruitment, reskilling and upskilling of technical & manufacturing workforces who are involved in the transition work to Battery Electrification across the Automotive Industries, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing.

The Battery Manufacturing Green Skills Bootcamp has been designed to train candidates with the fundamental Battery and Electrical Knowledge, Skills and Understanding for the next generation of Lithium-ion Battery Manufacture which sits across Electrode Manufacture, Cell Assembly and Module & Pack Assembly.

The candidate will acquire skills and competences to work in a battery factory, (safe working practices, clean room protocols, quality test and checks) alongside practical methods to demonstrate new knowledge gained in Electrode, Cell Assembly, Module & Battery Pack production.

Entry Requirements

Candidates interested in gaining the knowledge to work safely with the manufacture and application of Lithium-ion batteries will need to possess mathematical competency and understanding.
