This Open University qualification is ideal for managers who can take responsibility for people, projects, operations and/or services, to deliver long term organisational success, with the professional recognition of their ability to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate their commitment to continual learning and development.

This two year programme allows those with a Level 5 qualification in a business and management related subject to 'top-up' to a full degree apprenticeship. For those working in a suitable management role who do not hold a Level 5 management qualification the degree apprenticeship can be studied as an extended four year programme alongside a full BA (Hons) degree in Business and Management.

This course runs on an evening and has various start dates across the academic year. For more information, please contact Admissions on Live Chat.

You will hold:

  • A relevant Level 5 qualification
  • A relevant management role which enables you to cover the apprenticeship standards.

You will be invited to an informal interview with the programme lead. Please bring evidence of your previous qualifications.

Sessions are interactive so you can apply the theory into practice. Each unit has an assessment which has been designed by the course team and approved by the OU.

As an apprentice, you are required to do 20% off the job training and you will work with you own individual apprenticeship skills coordinator to plan this.
