This course is aimed for people aged 19 years or over.
Completing this Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills course would be useful if you would like to develop your counselling skills, either in work or a personal capacity.
This qualification may also be useful if you wish to progress towards advanced qualifications, or to compliment other qualifications you are working towards or hold, such as health and social care, children's care, learning and development, coaching, or voluntary and community work.
The aim of the course is to develop your counselling skills so you are able to understand different approaches and appreciate the importance of self-development.

Study Aims
This qualification aims to introduce you to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work. It will also develop your understanding of some of the approaches that underpin the use of counselling skills.

Teaching and Assessment
You will must complete all four mandatory units through submission of a portfolio to complete the qualification.
