Course Overview
Function and use of controls, gauges, switches and performance aids to carry out machine operations. Hazards and requirements for manoeuvring machinery around construction sites and working environments. Health, safety, wellbeing and environmental requirements Relevant legislation and regulations including Health and Safety at Work Act, PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, lifting regulations, risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
Extract information from a variety of sources for operational and maintenance requirements. Travel the machine across a range of ground, surfaces conditions. Operate the machine safely. Work in accordance with health, safety, welfare and environmental requirements, evaluate the working area and activity according to RAMS, and report on unsafe situations following organisational procedures.
