The EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations with a focus on Fabrication and Welding is designed to provide learners with the foundational skills, knowledge, and understanding required to begin a successful career in the engineering sector. With a specific emphasis on fabrication and welding, this course prepares individuals for work in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and maintenance where precision engineering is key.
Entry Criteria
Learners must have minimum grade 3 in GCSE Maths & English.
Additional Costs
Learners will be required to purchase their own safety boots, flame retardant overalls.

Engineering environment awareness. Engineering techniques Engineering mathematics and science principles . Fabrication and welding principles. Manual welding techniques. Producing components from metal plate. Producing components from sheet metal.

The course is normally studied over 3/4 days per week, 0900 - 1630.
