Entry Criteria
You will hold four GCSEs, including English and maths, grade 3/Functional Skill Level 2 or higher.
Additional Costs
Students are expected to make a £30 contribution at the start of the year to support the funding of guest lecturers, trips, and educational visits.

Study Aims
The Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Skills is perfect if you are looking to study creative media as a one-year, full-time course. It supports progression to Level 3 study in creative media. You will gain fundamental creative skills that are valued in other subject areas such as creative media, engineering, business or marketing. You could also progress to an apprenticeship in creative media or a related subject.

Teaching and Assessment
Develop your technical creative media skills through a process of self-evaluation, practice and review. In addition to sector-specific content, you will develop the transferable skills, such as:

Maths and English
Maths and English constitute a mandatory component of the curriculum. Learners who have not attained a GCSE grade 4 or Level 2 Functional Skills are required to attend mandatory maths/English sessions with the aim of achieving this grade within the academic year.
Placement
You will be expected to undertake a minimum of 70 hours work placement during the academic year.
You could progress to a Level 3 course in creative media or a relevant complementary course.
