This course is aimed for people aged 19 years or over.

This patisserie and confectionery course is suitable for you if you have little or no experience. It covers basic craft skills and focuses on pastry items.

This part-time course will prepare you to progress to a relevant Level 3 course or apprenticeship, or employment.

Study Aims

Develop your patisserie and confectionery skills, as well as an awareness of health and food safety in the catering industry.This part-time patisserie and confectionery course will give you the opportunity to bake biscuits, cakes and sponge products. You will also create hot and cold desserts, paste products and fermented dough products. This course is designed for those who work or want to work as Patisserie Chefs in the catering and hospitality sector.
