Dedicated University Centre
Our University Centre is a dedicated learning and social space especially for our students studying a degree or professional qualification. The purpose-built centre, with an open plan social feel and a glazed external façade, includes:
- An IT room
- Large general teaching classrooms
- A large breakout and social space for informal working
- Additional open-access computing facilities
- Areas to connect your own devices.

Support built around you
You have access to an Academic Support Tutor, our ASC (Advice Support Careers) team, and Personal Learning Coaches. You can also access Learner Support and our counselling service via ASC. Find out more

You can choose to do your degree in bite sized chunks through a foundation degree or HND followed by a top-up programme. You could also opt for a full honours degree, professional qualification or a higher apprenticeship.

Most of our tutors and lecturers have had extensive experience in the area in which they are teaching, so they can ensure you are up-to-date with current issues in the industry to give you the edge in the competitive jobs market.
We maintain very close links with industry to add value to your qualifications. These links provide students with valuable work placements opportunities, guest speakers and working on real live projects on behalf of commercial businesses.

Higher Education Hardship Fund
The College will seek to support those students suffering financial difficulty whilst undertaking Higher Education programmes. Students with a household income below £32,000 who meet the eligibility criteria may be entitled to receive bursary payments. Bursary payments will be made in two payments.
All students must make an application to the Access Fund prior to the published deadline in order to be considered for funding assistance.
