This nail programme is led by employers and industry specialists to make sure you are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviors needed to succeed in the ever-changing beauty and nail industry.

As an apprentice, you will learn all of the fundamental skills required to complete nail treatments.

Entry Criteria

4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English or maths. OR L2 Diploma in this subject.

Additional Costs

You will be required to purchase a salon tunic and a £5.00 deposit for a locker when at College.

You will be required to have an interview to discuss the Apprenticeship and entry requirements.

Times of Delivery

You will attend college one day per week and will be in the workplace with your employer four days a week.

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching with be both theory and practical and throughout the apprenticeship programme, you must complete a portfolio of evidence and complete an online exam for each unit.

End Point Assessment

As an apprentice, you will sit a final exam and complete an externally assessed practical assessment End Point Assessment (EPA).
