FREE (If meet residency criteria and not enrolled at another educational institution).

If you are aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, not enrolled at another educational institution and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years, your course will be FREE. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips.

Age 19+

If you are aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, not enrolled at another educational institution and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years, your course could be free dependant on the level of the course and your eligibility criteria. Student Finance

If you are aged 19 or over and not eligible to get your course free, you could apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from the Student Loans Company to help towards the cost of some, or all, of your fees. If the amount of Advanced Learner Loan available to you is less than the Advanced Learner Loan Fee for your course, you would need to pay the difference. Do you have a passion for nails? Are you looking to further your skills and develop new techniques and methods?

This Level 3 course is designed for those who have already completed Level 2 Nail Technology Diploma and wish to push their creative and commercial skills further. The course will teach you gel, acrylic and fiberglass extensions along with e-filing, airbrush nails and advanced nail art. Additionally you will carry out individual, semi-permanent lash extensions further adding to your skills.

4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and maths or Functional Skills Level 1

Level 2 Diploma in Nail Technology Enhancement.

Additional Costs

You will be required to purchase a uniform and kit for your course. Information on prices for these items will be shared at your meet the tutor chat.

Additionally, as part of your course you will be expected to pay £30 towards trips and visits and a £5 deposit for a locker.

Times of Delivery

Lessons will run on specified days Monday- Friday which may include early starts and late finishes.

Teaching and Assessment

You will complete practical assessments with your tutor once you feel ready to be assessed. The assessments will be carried out at various points in the year. Each unit will involve assignments, external exams and practical observations.

You will be required to provide clients and models throughout the year to work on, so that you can maximise your learning and explore the skills you have been learning. You will also be expected to work on external members of the public.

The programme will combine one theory session and three practical sessions, as well as one independent client session, per week. You will face a theoretical and practical assessment on completion of each unit.

You will be supported by your personal tutor and can request additional support from a Personal Learning Coach (PLC).
