Ben Evans joined NCD to study on our Access to HE Art and Design diploma to gain the qualification needed to progress to study a university course.
Ben said:
“I want to gain access to the Foundation Degree in Visual Arts at NCD in September. This year has helped me gain a lot more confidence in my creative work.”
Ben has also developed his reading and academic writing skills. He is completing his final end of year project, he continued:
“For my end of year project, I have decided to focus on gothic and horror styling with my artwork. The course has been fantastic and I have received a lot of support from my tutor and art team to prepare for the final project. It has been great to create more work for my portfolio and it has also helped me with my tattooing skills. I have really enjoyed using a wide range of different medias and building my unique style using different art as inspiration”
Ben’s end of year project will be displayed in college on 21 June.
