Our first year FdA Performing Arts students demonstrated the new performance skills they have developed studying on Level 4 in a celebration of their hard work in an intimate show at the Gala Theatre.
As four women, they decided to focus on female empowerment and each solo, duet and group piece embodied this theme. A huge congratulations to Eleaner-Mae Alderson, Summer Laverick, Brooklyn Sams and Chloe Graham for putting on a showstopping performance – we look forward to welcoming the foursome back in September to progress to Level 5.
Chloe Graham, FdA Performing Arts student, commented:
“The show has been an opportunity of a lifetime. I had an amazing time performing. It’s magical to think about how we started with an idea and it materialised into a production at the Gala. A thought can be turned into a dream!”
Summer Laverick, FdA Performing Arts student, said:
“Being part of this show really opened my eyes to each and every element that is involved in a full production, from lights to music. Having the opportunity to work and perform with my friends was magical.”
Eleaner-Mae Alderson, FdA Performing Arts student, enthused:
“I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this show and working together as a team but also individually on some elements. It allowed me to have an input into performance which resulted in me feeling like a “Boss Lady””
