“My time at New College Durham set a path for me to progress professionally as a Graphic Designer. The Level 6 BA (Hons) Design (Top-up) degree prepared me for industry. With modules focused on personal development and expanding my skillset, the course gave me the opportunity to develop a high-quality CV and professional portfolio of creative work. Both were crucial in helping me land a job as Marketing Designer for a successful company.

“My experience at NCD has been vital in my new role. As a Marketing Designer, I am responsible for creating visual assets that align with the brand’s identity, to be used both internally and externally for promotion and online presence.”

“My time on the Level 6 Design course prepared me for work in the industry. All of my lecturers had industry experience and the projects were tailored to feel like industry work. The course itself has really helped me feel ready for work. The support from my tutors enabled me to push for the best grades possible and not lose out on any opportunities for employment because of it.

“My role as Graphic Designer for TeesPrint has allowed me to put the skills I learnt to the test. I also work on multiple projects at different times, really testing my time management and problem-solving skills. Thankfully, I was prepared for this during my time at NCD. I now get to work with clients from all over the world, big and small. In my short time at TeesPrint, I've already worked with some big clients. Every day is different, it's great. I enjoyed every second of NCD and the course has prepared me for my future!”
